Sarah began creating digital art and design as a natural progression of wanting to support and promote local businesses and volunteer groups on Quadra Island, where she grew up. Following three years of fine arts education, and two subsequent years spent working as the in-house designer and print operator at Quadra's print shop, Sarah moved to the Comox Valley to hone her skills in the technology industry. In 2014 Sarah graduated with honors from the Communication Design Program at North Island College.
Over the last five years, Sarah has worked as a graphic designer for a number of high profile clients including First Nations organizations like the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada, to non-profit groups like North Island-Powell River Greens, and the Comox Valley Regional District’s transit campaigns. She has featured illustrations in Watershed Sentinel, where she is also a contract designer for the magazine.
Working with clients to strategize and develop brand identities, promotional materials, illustrations, and websites, Sarah has developed strong, ongoing partnerships within the local economy. Whether you’re seeking full-service strategic design services or one-off business cards she’s always excited to learn about your vision and offer her professional experience and creative flair.
